The sub-urban lanes of Oshiwara hosted us with the delicacies very well influenced from the international world. Be it Mexican or Italian, AT MRP caters to both with an Indian twist. It is a casual dining rooftop restaurant with a buzz of hookah smokers. The two months old restaurant met our hunger pangs with a line of mouth watering recipes. They have a menu to meet all your cravings with quirky titles. Our favourite was Bunny Chow & Gulabjamuns with Rabdi.
A glimpse to what we had at AT MRP:
In starters we ordered for Tandoori Momos, Chakna platter and Chimichangas and we loved it all. One of the hottest street food is Tandoori Momos. The sizzling hot little parcels of happiness were served with mustard dip and trust us, they will definitely trigger your love for the mountains.
Chakna Platter was the second in the line but the most needed one as drinks without chakna is incomplete. It was served in the most quirkiest manner fulfilling our cravings for Chana Chor Garam, Peanut Masala and Jhal-Muri (snack from the land of bengali) all in one. Turned out to be a perfect mix of taste.
For drinks we planned to keep it simple by ordering the most loved cocktails – Mojito & Pina Colada. To beat the summer heat, these acted as an amazing refresher with no overdose of any ingredients.mix of taste
MAIN COURSE :
In the main course, we opted for Pizza Strips, Bunny Chow and Vadapav Fondue.
Another meal with a quirky presentation was the Pizza Strips that came in a scooter. Super crispy thin crust pizza topped with capsicum, onion and tomatoes and yeah, lots of cheese. Bunny chow is one of the best recipes and would love to have it all over again. It is an African dish cooked with delicious chickpeas wrapped in bread with fried onion slices and served with hummus dip and salad. Well, Vadapav fondue is a great Maharashtrian mix of the Swiss recipe. It was served with a beautiful presentation but kind of a disappointment because of its unappetising taste. The Bunny chow, as mentioned before, is a must try while at AT MRP.
And now comes the most awaited section to be discussed, desserts. AT MRP will never disappoint anyone for their desserts. We ordered for Gulabjamun with Rabdi and Beer Cake. Both did a great job in satisfying our palettes. No exaggerations intended but AT MRP makes delicious Gulabjamuns and serve it with finger-licking rabdi.
WHAT’S BEST? -One of the best things about the place is they serve Hookah and host Karaoke Nights.
The staff is very attentive and we totally relied on them for the recommendations. Ambience at AT MRP is so so but definitely a great option for good food and meetings over a beer. The place is not very pricey and is a cool spot for the youngsters, especially the college crowd. The service is quick and one will definitely enjoy the time. Can be a great option for ordering food.
