Massages have always been my go-to for when I want to pamper myself. They help us unwind and rejuvenate after a long trip, or a series of taxing days at work, they help us celebrate a birthday, anniversary, pamper ourselves for a job well done, or any other special occasion. Not just that, we also know massage can be a medically beneficial practice that can aid in our mental and physical well-being.
My all-time favourite for a quick, anytime spa has always been Sohum Spa. Their Thai trained therapists, peaceful and relaxing ambience, aromatic creams, balms and oils all make for the perfectly uplifting experience. Not to forget the delicious exotic fruits and ginger tea served after the therapy! So what I tried with them was the Bali Massage.
Sohum Spa is a popular chain of affordable luxury day spas in Mumbai and some of the best hotels around the world, with a focus on de-stressing, detoxification, immunity and beauty. The Spa is spread over two floors with a beauty salon on the bottom floor and the spa on the top, There are seven treatment rooms offering new spa techniques combined with traditional therapies. The treatments on offer are extensive and innovative.
The menu features several classics including herbal detox massages, classic Thai massage, Balinese massage, and deep tissue sports massages, as well as innovative treatments and therapies. Suites with the private jacuzzi for couples are also available. The spa also has an Ayurvedic doctor to address health concerns such as fatigue, insomnia, pain, anxiety, and ageing.
Need I say more?! Not only is it more reviving, but it also provides deeper muscle relaxation. Definitely a seriously indulgent treat.
